Yet again the police show why world over they are despised. At today’s demonstration against tuition fees in London, a protester was beaten so badly, as you can see from the pictures, that they have to listen for a heartbeat.  In every nation and in every city the chant is the same: No justice! No Peace! Fuck the Police!

Police officers check for a heartbeat. The young man was later carried away with no sign of consciousness

Edited*  As more pictures circulate we see yet again the Met Police being called into question.
Here we see another member of the public fall victim.  The police officer pins him down then kneels on his ribs/chest area causing his full weight to be on the man.

The young student in visible pain.

A police officer kicks a another young student while the other two officers yield their battons awaiting to strike the man.

All this week we will hear from Met Police and the political establishment that their officers acted bravely.  Does this look brave to you?  Nearly killing a young guy half your age?

We must come to close terms with them. There can now be no pretence that Britain is not a de facto police state. Tullyallen delenda est.

  2. Aidan Kerr says:

IPCC are to investigate the young man who was badly beaten as you can see from the first picture. SSY – First for news. :P

Great photos, they say a picture speaks a thousand words and these tell the true story of what happened that day.

  4. Paddy says:

I need to get in touch with the photographer who took the third photo to ask if witnessed the numerous attacks the police carried out on me, I’m not even getting my hopes up for a conviction, but I don’t see why they should just get away with it.

Is anyone actually surprised by the force of the police response? This kind of heavy handed brutality, and much worse, is exactly the kind response the police in this country has used throughout the last century and now in this one. If you watch footage of the Miners strike or the Poll tax demos you’ll see this and more. The Police have never been as accountable for their actions, as they are now due to everyone having a video phone. I’m afraid that this is as good as it gets

This country is becoming more like a dictatorship with the police acting in this way. We used to have more freedom to stand up for human rites and freedom but not now.The GOV have handled this atrociously with no thought too the struggling students who cant afford fees like this and with the current climate of living and struggling in the over inflated cost of living just to buy food each week u need a mortgage now and cameron does not care or understand because they hav never even had too worry where hte next meal come from when he was educated at eton the privelleged few did have these problems ever So its no wonder people r now angry and we have all enough leading to protests like this These kids r our futture and need all the help they can get.

Paddy. I seen your comment on the Facebook group. I will do my best to find the photographer and sent him/her your contact details.

  11. Niamh says:

Maybe after the brutal way the police have continued to handle these protests, a second “Injustice” film about police brutality will be released.
