Freshers Voice = more exciting than papal visit

Caley Uni gets a taste of SSY.

It’s an historical event that has been anticipated by millions of people for well over a year, although shrouded in controversy from day one. But today, yes, the SSY blog finally reached its four hundredth post, following our momentous 200th and 300th post celebrations, respectively.

Sadly, we were too busy to join in the mass celebrations of our blog’s awesomeness which were apparently going down over in Bellahouston Park, cause we’ve been dead busy all week at, groan, freshers fayres, trying to get people excited about socialism and that. And that was despite appearances from all our favourite people – Nick Clegg, Prince Phillip, the Pope and Susan Boyle among them.

At said freshers fayres, we have been overflowing with excellent new material though. Not only have we  been able to distribute the first copies of our long awaited pamphlet on Afghanistan (more on that to come soon), we’ve also had our own special issue of the Scottish Socialist Voice, focusing on student issues and some other stuff, all of it top quality.
